Our Story
The heart of SAJ is Stacey Johnson, a woman whose strength was forged through life’s toughest challenges. Raised by a teen mom who worked, studied, and cared for her community, Stacey learned early that compassion and perseverance can build anything. The real turning point came when our founder and her mother decided to create something new for the community . Something that came from the depths of everything they had learned as a mom, a worker, a student, and a fighter. She decided to create a clean brand, one that she could build with her mother by her side. It was something they could do together, a way to take the pain and the struggle and turn it into something meaningful. Stacey started researching clean ingredients and ethical business practices. She wanted to create essential and/or personal care products that didn’t harm anyone, that didn’t harm the environment, and that could actually help people.

As a daughter of a single mom, she understood what it meant to need products that worked, that were affordable, and that were safe. So she made it her mission to create something different.But here’s the thing: they created the brand together. Our brand, which we called “SAJ,” was born from a place of love, determination, and resilience. Despite everything they went through, they still found ways to laugh and share joy.
